How It All Started...
I first started web designing near the end of August 2008. I had an Iconator account, and I noticed many people did not know how to animate icons, or how to color up their profiles. I wanted to dedicate a whole site to helping people on Iconator. That's when I went to Freewebs,* and got Crazy Monkey Ninja Designs. It started out like that, but soon I started to get a bit bored. I saw other sites with tons of graphics, and I decided it was time for me to add more content that doesn't have to do with Iconator. I had moved to Shockwave.RetroRawr.Com on December 25, 2008, when the wonderful Cassie (RetroRawr.com) agreed to host me. The site was officially opened on the 1st of 2009.
However, I noticed that the server was down a lot. It was down at least one hour every day. I got tired of waiting for the site to get back up, and I decided it was too much. I searched for different hosts, and I found Georgie!* She agreed to host me, and my new website was Shockwave.Heartdrops.org.
Jeff offered to buy me a domain, but I didn't think I was too ready for one. Soon, however, Alexandra offered to buy me a domain, and I accepted the offer this time. I got the name "Shock Revolution" from the song Revolution by Mercy Mercedes. I put "Shock" from "Shockwave" in front of it, and "Shock Revolution" was born! (:
