Version 1: Revolution
July 28, 2009 - August 31, 2009.
I actually liked this layout at first, but looking back, I think I could have used better colors. I don't think it was a horrible layout, though, just average. The lyrics are from Revolution by Mercy Mercedes. I really have no idea where the city brush came from. I guess it sort of fits in with the lyrics, though. Part of the lyrics are "..catch this world on fire.." and I suppose the city could be part of the world they put on fire.
Version 2: Lost in Stereo
August 31, 2009 - December 31, 2009.
I am the proudest of this layout, no doubt. I wasn't sure if the colors were okay, and I knew I was taking a risk since you normally wouldn't see those colors together. I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself. The lyrics are from Lost in Stereo by All Time Low. I believe I got the retro-y splat brushes from Free-Brushes. I got a lot of positive feedback from this layout, which I really was not expecting.
Version 3: Cafe Revolution
January 1, 2010 - March 14, 2010.
I wasn't really sure what to name this layout, so I asked around, and Vivien suggested "Cafe Revolution." No one else was really giving me any ideas, so yeah... :3 Anywho, I used a font called "Little Days" for "Shock Revolution.org" in the header. I also used my own brush behind the words in the header (that awkward mess of scribbles in the background that faintly resembles a flower). I liked it at first, but now I don't really like this one anymore... It's just so blah. I think I used too bright colors on too dark colors. :/
