Hello, Summer!

It’s FINALLY summer here in the United States! :D It’s sooo hot, but I love the summer. It’s way better than being freezing cold in the winter, right? :3

Tomorrow (June 28) is my last day of school! It is also Shock Revolution’s 11 month anniversary! :) Honestly, I don’t understand why they decided to make the last day of school a MONDAY. I find that stupid, since we’re only going for that one day. And it’s also a HALF day, which means we get out at 11:20AM instead of 2:20PM. When school starts up again in September, I’m going to be in eighth grade! I’m definitely excited but nervous/worried.

It was my birthday on the 18th, which I mentioned in my last blog. I had a sleepover and three of my friends slept over. One of them brought a tent so we set it up and that’s where we slept. Unfortunately, we put off setting the tent until it was really dark out, so we couldn’t really see what we were doing. :3 I’m just glad the tent didn’t collapse in the middle of the night!

My aunt owns a nail salon, so she brought in a bunch of different bottles of nail polish and we did each others’ nails. It was such a movie-moment. XD You know those movies where the girls have sleepovers and they do their nails and tell secrets and whatnot? It was like that. We were doing our nails on my bed, which proved to be a bad idea because we got nail polish on my blanket. Oops. :3

Tomorrow, after school ends, I’m going to the hair salon. A few months back, like around December, I got a perm so my hair was curly, but it’s been coming out a bit. Plus, curly hair is a bit annoying. So I’m getting the magic perm or whatever it’s called to get my hair straightened again. I’ll have to cut my hair a few inches shorter since it’s down to my mid-back. I’m also getting side bangs, which I’m excited about because I never had bangs before.

Sitely Updates: (Is sitely even a word? :3) I’m creating a new tutorial series on how to animate icons, like the icons on the AIM Icons/Avatars page. This is the first tutorial up in the series, called Animating Icons: Basic Fade. There is also a new round of Guess the Number and Guess the Song, if anyone wants to participate.

Oh, I also want to congratulate Simone for being the 333rd commenter! She will receive a month of plugging right above the blog.

Ooooo. It’s cool you have a beach near by! :D I wish I did but our beach is like 3 hours away? Or more…I don’t even know. It’s on Tybee Island, so it’s pretty far.

We always have half days for the last day too, but I don’t think we’ve ever had one on a Monday. It’s a bit stupid, but at least you have the rest of the week free. I don’t finish for about 3 weeks. Grr.

The sleepover sounds like fun. I love sleepovers, but haven’t been to one in a while.

Good; twilight and new moon weren’t that great. They each had a different director though, so, this director might be.. the one. (:

Hahaha; I never eat anything for lunch besides a sub or a sandwich. Sometimes I’ll eat leftover chicken or steak tips or pizza, but that’s rare.

Wow, your last day was June 28th AND a Monday. That’s tooo weird, my last day of school was like May 28th and they would never make so that’s it’s on a Monday. That doesn’t make any sense at all what so ever!

I remember when I was going to the 8th grade. It was soo scary for me but it turned out to be the best year for me in middle school.

Happy Belated Birthday! Sounds like you had a good time :) I’ve been having a lot of “movie moments” lately. I think they’re sooo cute. Speaking of nails I should really go to the nail salon.

You’re lucky you get half days at all… when I was in school, it was never like that unless there was a teacher’s strike or something.

I wanted to have curly hair but my mum said it would be a pain to take care of and stuff. I guess I’ll learn to love my straight hair. I’m actually growing it out at the moment haha.

I have side bangs! But if you have naturally wavy hair, than you might have to straighten your bangs. I have wavy hair and I have to either straighten or blow dry it to get rid of this frizzy wierd sidebang. Haha, I hope I didn’t discourage you. But sidebangs are great, I love them!(:
