Hello, Summer!

It's FINALLY summer here in the United States! :D It's sooo hot, but I love the summer. It's way better than being freezing cold in the winter, right? :3

Tomorrow (June 28) is my last day of school! It is also Shock Revolution's 11 month anniversary! :) Honestly, I don't understand why they decided to make the last day of school a MONDAY. I find that stupid, since we're only going for that one day. And it's also a HALF day, which means we get out at 11:20AM instead of 2:20PM. When school starts up again in September, I'm going to be in eighth grade! I'm definitely excited but nervous/worried.

It was my birthday on the 18th, which I mentioned in my last blog. I had a sleepover and three of my friends slept over. One of them brought a tent so we set it up and that's where we slept. Unfortunately, we put off setting the tent until it was really dark out, so we couldn't really see what we were doing. :3 I'm just glad the tent didn't collapse in the middle of the night!

My aunt owns a nail salon, so she brought in a bunch of different bottles of nail polish and we did each others' nails. It was such a movie-moment. XD You know those movies where the girls have sleepovers and they do their nails and tell secrets and whatnot? It was like that. We were doing our nails on my bed, which proved to be a bad idea because we got nail polish on my blanket. Oops. :3

Tomorrow, after school ends, I'm going to the hair salon. A few months back, like around December, I got a perm so my hair was curly, but it's been coming out a bit. Plus, curly hair is a bit annoying. So I'm getting the magic perm or whatever it's called to get my hair straightened again. I'll have to cut my hair a few inches shorter since it's down to my mid-back. I'm also getting side bangs, which I'm excited about because I never had bangs before.

Sitely Updates: (Is sitely even a word? :3) I'm creating a new tutorial series on how to animate icons, like the icons on the AIM Icons/Avatars page. This is the first tutorial up in the series, called Animating Icons: Basic Fade. There is also a new round of Guess the Number and Guess the Song, if anyone wants to participate.

Oh, I also want to congratulate Simone for being the 333rd commenter! She will receive a month of plugging right above the blog.

Water, Water, and More Water.

Jeez, the last time I blogged was in May! It's like I'm making blogging a once-a-month thing. Sorry, guys! School is coming to an end, however, so I'll probably have more time to blog. :)

Last Friday in school, I had my head on my desk, and this girl, Ashley, was sitting next to me. She was drinking water, and then suddenly she just holds the bottle (which was UNCAPPED) above my head. Gee, I wonder what happens when you hold an open water bottle over someone's head. -.- It was NOT FUN.

The water spilled out and my hair and the side of my face got all wet. She claimed that she thought there was no water in it, and I was like, "If there was no water in it, how did I get wet? Did water just magically appear out of no where?" The water got on my shirt, too, and I was wearing my gym shirt, which happened to be white. I was so annoyed. I mean, it's not everyday someone just pours water over my head. Then people started to yell at Ashley, including me, and she started to cry. I was seriously speechless. She poured water on me, and SHE cries? Does anyone else see something wrong with the picture here?

Anyway, on a happier note, my birthday is coming up soon! It's on Friday (June 18). I invited some of my friends over after school. I have an inflatable pool at home, so we're blowing it up. I'm thinking about making it into a sleepover, but I don't know if my aunt would let them stay. :3

Tomorrow (Monday, June 14), someone from the mayor's office is coming to our school! (I live in New York, so my mayor is Michael Bloomberg.) They're coming during our after school program and they're going around to see what we're all doing. I'm in orchestra, so I'll be playing the violin when they come. If they like what they see, they might donate money to our school to get more supplies and instruments and whatnot. Let's hope all goes well! :D

Okay, random fact today! Did you know that everyone sheds an average of 4 pounds of skin in his or her lifetime? That's sort of gross yet cool at the same time. XD And since I haven't included a random fact in my blogs lately, here's another one. The water you drink has most likely been drunk already by at least one other person before. Disgusting, I know. I could have lived without knowing that, either, but if I'm going to be disgusted every time I drink water, I'm going to make sure other people are, too. :P

You know, now that I finished writing the blog, I realized that it has a lot to do with water. The random fact, the pouring of water on my head, the pool party. So... that explains the title, in case you were wondering.

Silly Bands! (And Female Dogs)

EDIT (May 28, 2010): NEW LAYOUT! (: If you can't see it, or if the coding is messed up, please try refreshing the page a few times! I put a new layout up in honor of Shock Revolution's 10 month anniversary. :D

And about the silly bands: At my school, we have different assistant principals for each grade, and a different dean for each grade. Apparently the silly bands were banned only for the 7th graders! UGH, that's SO unfair! :/

I went on a trip to the Bronx Zoo on Thursday, so expect a few new pictures! (: Yay for FINALLY updating again. XD

I'm pretty sure that by now you've all come across a silly band. If you don't know what they are, they're basically just colorful rubber bands that are in the shade of animals and other objects, and they always keep their shape. Lately, they've been really popular, but they banned them at my school last week. :( Apparently kids were shooting them at each other. -.-

I wore four silly bands to school one day, and I let my friend Karen see them during homeroom, but she only gave me three back! So I asked her to give me my other one back, and she said she didn't know what I was talking about. But my other friend, Samantha, I let her see it with Karen and she knew I had four. Karen showed me the little pouch she kept all her rubber bands in, and she took out all the orange ones to show me that my orange sea horse rubber band wasn't there.

Then in math class, Karen sits next to my other friend, Sharon, and apparently Karen showed Sharon the orange sea horse that belonged to me. Sharon asked her where she got it (I told Sharon that Karen stole it from me before Math class) and Karen said, "Let's just say I got it from a very good friend of mine."

Then the next day, she came to school and she showed everyone her new silly bands. One of them being an orange sea horse. -.- She said she bought them after school, but she couldn't have, because she showed the same one to Sharon already! And she couldn't have bought that because that was the only sea animal rubber band she had (usually when you buy a pack of rubber bands, they're all the same topic, like farm animals). By that time, all my friends knew Karen stole it, and one of my friends was like, "Isn't that Alice's?" and Karen replied, "No, the one she lost was a different color." I was standing behind her, so I was shaking my head like crazy to show she was lying. XD

Sharon, being the awesome friend she is, stole it back for me. :3 They have this weird game they play with the silly bands during lunch, so Sharon took it while she was playing. We all still pretend that I never found it. I don't know if she knows that she "lost" it yet. :P

Anyway, that was my sorta long rant on Karen and how much of a female dog she is. (By the way, if you didn't know, another word for "female dog" is a 5 letter word that rhymes with "itch" and "witch.")

Also, I want to apologize about how much I've been neglecting my site! I'm soo sorry. I'll try to update more often and return all comments this week! :) It's going to by Shock Revolution's 10 month anniversary on the 28th! I'm coding a new layout to put up. :D This is the header image I'll be using. Do you like it? Love it? Hate it? Tell me what you think! (:

There's this concert thing at my school, and I'm in the orchestra so I'll be performing tomorrow night and Wednesday night. (: I'm also going on a trip to the Bronx Zoo on Thursday. I swear, we go to that zoo EVERY YEAR on a trip. XD Even in elementary school we went there for a trip.

This is turning out to be a realllly long blog to make up for a reallllly long break/period of neglect. :3 So... feel free to leave me a realllllly long comment to go along with my realllly long blog! XD (Psttt... the 333rd commenter will receive a month of plugging on the home page right above the blog! :D)

VOTE FOR ME (Shock Revolution)!! You can vote once a day! Free cookies to all who vote. :D

Helllllo! (: The title of the blog is just a part of a song (Vegas Skies by The Cab). Lately I've been obsessed with that song, and it's been stuck in my head for a while. :3 I just needed to get it out somewhere. If you've never heard of it, YouTube it, or just click here! :)

I want to go see The Last Song. I don't particularly like Miley Cyrus, but the movie trailer looks okay, and I've heard good responses to it. I like Miley Cyrus's "When I Look At You." I'm not sure if I'll have time to go see it. :/

I'm still on my Spring Break! It was from March 27, and it ends on April 6. I have to go to school on Wednesday (April 7). Meh. But I'm going on a trip on April 7. I'm going to the Metropolitan Opera House and we're attending a rehearsal for Armida.

I hate how teachers pile so much work over vacations. It's like they don't want us to have fun at all! I had seven things to do over Spring Break, and four of them being projects. Three of the projects are due on April 7th, and the other is due on April 12th. *sigh* One of my projects is this. We don't have to enter; we just have to do the project for it. I made a website for it, and you can find the website here.

Happy Easter, by the way, to anyone who celebrates it! :) I haven't made a gift for it; sorry! I just really didn't have the time. I didn't really do anything special. Usually I'd make Easter eggs or something, but I didn't feel like it this year. Did you guys do something special? I hope you had a great Easter, and for those who don't celebrate it, I hope you guys had a great weekend! :D

I just really didn’t have the time. I didn’t really do anything special. Usually I’d make Easter eggs or something, but I didn’t feel like it this year. Did you guys do something special? I hope you had a great Easter, and for those who don’t celebrate it, I hope you guys had a great weekend!

As you guys can obviously see, I've put up a new layout! :) If you can't see it, or if you still see some of the old CSS, just refresh! :D So, what do you think? Honestly, I don't like this one. :3 It's too.. blahhh. Lol, but I made this layout a while ago, and since St. Patrick's Day is coming up, I figured I'd just put it up. After all, it's a bit green-ish, and why let a layout go to waste, no matter how much I dislike it? I don't think this layout have enough... pizazz. XD But this one uses brighter colors than my last one.

I was inspired to make that header after seeing a Vitamin Water bottle. XD Yeah... And the lyrics I used are from Change by Taylor Swift. It's a revolution; the time will come for us to finally win. I should have put the lyrics in smaller text, and maybe not in capital letters. Meh. Well, I don't feel like changing it; and I don't even know if I still have the file, so... This is what you get. :P For now.

Enough about my layout. Today is Pi Day! LOL. Get it? Since today's date is 3/14? It would be even cooler if the year was 2015, so that the date would be 3/14/15, as in 3.1415... Yeah. Nerd moment. :3 Tomorrow, at school, we're having a bake sale or something for Pi Day.

Today was also Daylight Savings, here in the U.S.! I don't know how it works in other countries, or if you have one at all..? >.< Anyway. We had to change our clocks and move it forward one hour, which sucks, because it means I lose an hour of sleep! :/ Darn.

I'm having an affiliate clean out! I have about 8 affiliates that I keep in touch in. The rest are on hiatus, inactive, or we just haven't talked in a while. A long while. The last day you can reply by is April 1st! (You can reply on April 1st; you can't reply on the 2nd.) This gives everyone 2 weeks and a half to respond! If you don't want to stay affiliates at all, please just let me know. I'm also accepting affiliation requests again. Apply to become affiliates or link exchanges here!

Yeah.. So I guess that's it. Sorry; no random fact today! :P

Alice in Wonderland - It's definitely one of my favorite books/movies of all time. Perhaps part of it has to do with the fact that I share the same name as the main character. And if you can't figure out what that name is, it's Alice. XD I can't wait to see the new 3D version of it! I'm going on Saturday (March 20) to see it with my friends.

Oh, and while we talk about 3D movies, did you know that 3D movies can actually be bad for you? See, what happens when you watch them is that the glasses somehow make your eyes see different things. Your brain and your eyes get confused, so some people might get headaches and whatnot. Sometimes it can even get so serious that you have to be hospitalized! :o Random, I know. But in English class at school, we're creating a newspaper as a group project, and we each have to write at least one article. Someone chose to write about that, and I thought it would be cool to share. XD

I'm writing about a fundraiser my school had for Haiti. Boring, I know, but someone had to do an article on a current event, and no one else was really willing to, so I stepped up. Besides, I figured there would be tons of stuff about the earthquake that struck Haiti to help me with my article. Out school raised just under a thousand USD, but we also collected tons of canned goods, so if you added that in, it would amount to over $1000. Awesome, right?! :)

This Friday is Career Day. Tons of people have asked me "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and I bet you've all been asked that, too. I honestly don't know yet. So that's got me thinking: What do I want to be? I'm in seventh grade, but next year, I'll be in 8th (hopefully), and I'll have to send applications to high schools. Already. D: It's sort of scary, thinking about it. How am I supposed to choose a high school when I don't even know what direction career-wise that I'm heading for? Of course, as a little girl, I wanted to be a princess! What girl didn't? XD

Anyway, as expected, my dad wants me to become a lawyer or a doctor of some sort. I can rule out becoming a doctor since I get very lightheaded and nauseous at the sight of blood -- your blood or my blood, it's all the same. And becoming a lawyer... do I really want to have to do all that paperwork? :3 Besides, I have a fear of talking in front of crowds no matter how big or small. I get all red in the face. XD

And another random fact to end the blog! Did you know that a centipede doesn't actually have 100 legs? And a millipede does not have 1, 000 legs. Common millipedes usually have between 36 and 400 legs. :3

Questions:
1. What do YOU currently want to be when you "grow up"? What did you want to be?
2. Seen any movies lately?

Yeah.. this blog really just jumped from topic to topic.

Okay, so at school, we have a Lost and Found. If you don't know what that is, it's just like this bin where they dump all the things students have lost over the year. In math class, we started talking about it, for no reason at all (because the teacher is cool like that XD). She told us about how once, a student left a winter coat in the closet, and it was STILL there by the end of the school year.

Really? How do you forget a heavy, winter coat?!?! I mean, HELLO? Oh, hey, it's cold out! I wonder what I'm missing? And the thing I don't get, besides that, is that they never reclaim it! How do you not remember that you left your coat at school? How do you not remember that it's your coat hanging in the closet? How do you not remember to bring it home the next day?!?!

Once, my friend even saw a pair of underwear in the staircase. O_O How do you lose your underwear? I mean, it's not like you're wearing it, and then all of the sudden it's falling down your pants, or something. O_o Unless you take it off, and I don't know why you'd be taking off your underwear in the SCHOOL STAIRCASE, how do you lose your underwear?

Speaking of school, on Friday, January 29th, I had part one of my social studies midterm. D: I have an okay feeling, but you know how that always turns out. :P Day two of my S. S. test is on Monday (February 1). Wow, would you believe that it's February 2010 already? That brings us another month closer to 2012 and Armageddon. (; To be honest, I don't believe that the world will end in 2012.

The only reason some people think that, is because the Mayan's calendar was in a spiral, and it was really precise. The position of the moons, the stars, whatever. The Mayan calendar almost matched our current calendar. They were just that exact. Anyway, like I said, their calendar was in a spiral, and the spiral ended at 2012. And that's why people think the world will end in 2012. But really, they couldn't even predict the end of their own civilization. :P And how do you know they didn't just run out of room for the spiral?

Last Tuesday, we went to the Maimonides Hospital! We went to the nursery section, and the babies were all so cute! Everyone was asking if that baby was a girl, or if this baby was a boy. When the nurse replied, everyone was like, "How do you know?" And the nurse would go, "Oh, you know.. I'm a nurse. I'm supposed to know these things. But it also helps that there are labels." Everyone felt really stupid after that. XD

One bad thing has happened, though -- My aunt was going down the stairs, but she twisted it somehow. :/ Her left ankle is a bit swollen, but it's been getting much better now.

And... I don't really want to end on a bad note, so I'll end saying I saw The Lovely Bones. It was pretty good, actually, and I enjoyed it. :) It was a bit sad, though, of course, since it's about a murder. XD It wasn't really too scary, though, except for this one part where... Uh, sorry, I don't want to spoil it. :P 'Kay, well, BYE FOR NOW! :D

Question(s):
Wow, I haven't asked questions in my blogs for a while now. XD
How do you lose your underwear at school? Be creative!
Do you believe in 2012 the world will end? What do you think about the Mayan calendar?

Updates: Round Six of Guess the Number; New poll, so go vote, please; Last but not least, a Jessika Name Signature -- Go request one too!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! I am currently typing this about 10 minutes before 2010! :D Yes, I'm staying up to see the ball drop on TV. :)
Also, if you haven't noticed by now, I've put a new layout up, so refresh! Please let me know if there are any errors, or if you think I should change something, and why. :) Thanks, everyone! Happy Holidays. XOXO, Allie.

Merry Christmas to all, and for those who don't celebrate it, Happy Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and I hope you all have a great New Year! :D I made a little gift for you all, and it's been up for a while now. Click on that little link up there above the blog post. *points*

I hope your holidays are awesome, and if you don't celebrate anything, I hope your New Year is better than the last one. (: So for those who celebrate Christmas, or a holiday where they receive presents - What did you get? Did you get everything on your wish list?

I didn't really want anything in particular, except for a new phone, which, I might add, I did NOT get. -.- (See, the last one I got was the LG Neon, and I had it for A WEEK until my aunt accidentally dropped it in water. *sigh*) I also wanted to get my ears pierced. I asked my dad last year, but he was a bit reluctant, though I really don't get why since I had my ears pierced when I was younger; it just closed up after an infection. I asked him like a million times, and he finally gave in! :D Yay for annoying people until they give in. Teehee.

I got an "A" pillow from my friend from Justice (click to see what it looks like, though in the picture it's an E whereas mine is an A), another pillow/stuffed doll thingy, a cushion, a necklace from Juicy Couture, a set of 3 charm elastics from Juicy Couture, socks (bleh, LOL), purple nail polish, and hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works.

On Christmas (December 25), I went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree. The tree looks huge on TV, but it's not really *that* big in real life. I also went to Bryant Park and we went skating! :)

I was *going to* go to Georgia with my aunt on the 26th, but it rained all day long. Like, seriously? Are you kidding me?! It was pouring, and it was too dangerous to go, so my aunt decided not to go. After all, it takes more than half a day to get there from New York, and we wouldn't be able to stay that long there. *sigh* So instead, we might go to Great Wolf Lodge with my aunt's friend.

I asked my dad last year, but he was a bit reluctant, though I really don’t get why since I had my ears pierced when I was younger; it just closed up after an infection. I asked him like a million times, and he finally gave in! Yay for annoying people until they give in. Teehee.

I got an “A” pillow from my friend from Justice (click to see what it looks like, though in the picture it’s an E whereas mine is an A), another pillow/stuffed doll thingy, a cushion, a necklace from Juicy Couture, a set of 3 charm elastics from Juicy Couture, socks (bleh, LOL), purple nail polish, and hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works.

On Christmas (December 25), I went to Rockefeller Center to see the tree. The tree looks huge on TV, but it’s not really *that* big in real life. I also went to Bryant Park and we went skating!

I was *going to* go to Georgia with my aunt on the 26th, but it rained all day long. Like, seriously? Are you kidding me?! It was pouring, and it was too dangerous to go, so my aunt decided not to go. After all, it takes more than half a day to get there from New York, and we wouldn’t be able to stay that long there. *sigh* So instead, we might go to Great Wolf Lodge with my aunt’s friend.

DON'T CHOKE!

Okay, so before I start this blog, I'd like you to ENTER THIS CONTEST. You create your own holiday song for a chance to win a domain! :D I'd also appreciate it if you linked it somewhere on you blog or something. You don't have to, though. It's just that Paige has no entries. :(

In case you missed the gift on Twitter, which I think most of you have, this is the Thanksgiving gift I made. (: I drew the little turkey scribble. Like it? :D

I'm not planning on making this blog too long since it's 10:05PM and I'll probably get into trouble if I stay on too long. D: I'm also accepting affiliation requests along with link exchanging.

Last week, the whole 7th grade went on a trip to the Bowling Alley. We got to choose our groups which made it all the more awesomer. xD Surprisingly, I actually won the first round we played. I'm not that good of a bowler; I'm an average bowler. I won with 69 points. I had a lot of fun at the bowling alley. Some boys from our class were in the lane right next to us, and they were cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.

Near the end, when a lot of teams were finishing up, they got a bit more rowdy and annoying. Every time it was my turn, this one guy would yell "DON'T CHOKE!" at the same time I would let the ball go. "Choking" is when you play with the bumpers down, and the ball goes into the "gutter." Of course, every time he'd say it, I'd choke. -.- I was so annoyed at him. >.<

Well, now for the random fact, I suppose. Did you know it takes 14 muscles to smile, yet 43 muscles to frown? All the more reason to smile, right? :)

I'm sure you've all heard at least one "That's what she said" joke in your life. If you haven't, well, I'm sure you will. They're mostly really inappropriate, though they can be hilarious. My friend has been obsessed with "that's what she said" jokes lately. We almost got in trouble in science class because we were laughing. Teehee. xD

Last Friday, I saw New Moon! It was definitely way better than Twilight, which I thought was horrible. When I first read the books, I imagined Bella to be way different from Kristen Stewart. Kristen is a little too.. I don't know, outgoing (?) compared to Bella. I expected Bella to be a bit more reserved and quiet around people. Well, that's just my opinion. So did you guys see any movies lately? If so, what was it and what are your thoughts on them? :)

Last Tuesday (the 17th), was Parent-Teacher Conferences at my school. We had to wait forever to talk to some of my teachers. Luckily, we only had to go to 5. When my dad was talking to my string (orchestra) teacher, I found out that my grandmother's cousin used to be a world-wide violinist! He's at least 60 years old now, so he doesn't play anymore, but he used to play with Yo-Yo Ma. I believe this is him, but I'm not 100% sure because my dad doesn't know how he spells his name in English. I spent 30 minutes Google-ing him until I finally spelled it correctly. :P My dad hasn't seen him in 20 years. He's supposedly currently residing in New York, and he's super rich.

I've been sick since Friday the 13th, unfortunately. I had a fever, sore throat, cough, and a stuffy/runny nose this past week and a half. I didn't go to school on Thursday and Friday, which helped a lot, though it means I'll have to make up a lot of homework. *sigh* On the bright side, it'll be Thanksgiving next Thursday, so I have both Thursday and Friday off again! (: Yay!

I know I haven't been too active, so these past few weeks, I've been trying to add a bit more and edit old things. I've added a few new name signatures, a new poll (Pleas vote! The current one ends this Wednesday.), a new page of AIM Icons and Avatars, and a new article on Swine Flu. I've also added a collection of random quotes, but I'm thinking of deleting the page because it seems a bit boring. What do you think? Keep it or lose it?

And now for the random fact of the blog, did you know that African elephants are pregnant for 22 months?! That's almost 2 years! Wow. Elephants are also the only land creatures, besides humans, who can cry.

I know. I'm a horrible person. D: I just can't seem to find the time to get online! :/ But since I know everyone hates when people blog about how sorry they are all and all that shiz, I'll just skip over it. (; Meh, and I'm also having a serious case of designer's block. *sigh*

Anyway, on a happier note, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :D I have a little gift that I made, which you can view here. (: I know it's not really much; Sorry! D:

I didn't go trick or treating this year. I think it's the first year I haven't, actually! O_O I don't know why I didn't go; I guess I just didn't feel like it. >.< What did you guys do? At school, there was a Halloween Dance, though I personally thought it was stupid. Nobody really "dances." The boys just run around, chasing each other. Real mature, guys. We weren't allowed to wear costumes, though. Our teacher said it's because if someone does something bad, and we have a mask on, they wouldn't be able to see their face or something. On the bright side, we had a dress down day, meaning we could wear anything we wanted, including jeans! :D

See, my school has this dress code thing where 7th grades need to wear collared shirts and navy blue or khaki bottoms. So it's pretty awesome whenever we have dress down days. It was crazy socks and hats day, to make up for the lack of costumes. I wore socks with stripes of neon green and dark blue. It had a little doggie on the sides.

Today, November 1, is when Daylight Saving Time ends. When I woke up this morning, I was so confused. xD Yes, I fail terribly. Only after checking my calendar did I realize I had to turn back my clocks. Meh. Well, at least I get an extra hour of sleep! :) On the news on TV, I heard this watch store had over 800 watches. :o The owner had tons (not literally) of people helping him rewind them all. I feel bad for him. :P

This Tuesday (November 3rd) is Election Day for mayors, I believe, so we have the day off. Why can't they just give us Monday off, too? xD That way, we'd have a 4 day weekend. Awesome.

Well, I was going to end this blog with a random fact, but I sort of forgot the random fact.. So I guess now I'm ending this blog about how I wanted to end this blog with a random fact that I forgot. LMAO. Wow. :P Good luck trying to figure THAT one out.

Edit.10.16.09.
Whoa. I'm just so overwhelmed with the amount of comments I've received. :O I feel soo bad disabling comments. :/ But I have to return more than 35 comments, and I can't really keep up with it all. So until I return at least 15 more comments, it'll be disabled. You may comment here instead. The comment box pretty much beats the purpose of returning comments, I know. xD
Georgina is also the 32nd commenter, so she will receive 3 weeks of plugging ending on November 6.

Hey, everyone! Wow, that was a long revamp. I'm so sorry, I didn't expect it to last this long. Affiliates, if you don't see your name on the affiliates page, I probably missed your site. Oops. Please let me know! If you were not an affiliate but would like to be one, you may apply here! (: Also, I know a lot of people have complained about FanUpdate not remembering their information and whatnot. I re-installed FanUpdate, hence losing all my blogs and comments *sniff*, but now it should remember you. I'm not making any promises! (;

I added new content, and most of it is mentioned in the updates section in the sidebar. But I'm going to tell you anyway. (; I added a new page for layout templates with 3 templates, there is a new round of the Guess the Number and "What Is It?", and I added 3 new name signatures that say Alice, Delilah, and Karina. Go request a name signature for yourself! I also added two new tutorials, Displaying Code Properly and Using and Customizing Bullet Points. I'm also thinking about adding a page for AIM icons and avatars.

Moving on to the title. I'm assuming you all know what an ATM is. If not, it's one of those machines where you insert your credit card and it gives you cash instead. A lot of people say "ATM Machine," instead of just "ATM," which is really the correct way to say it. ATM stands for Automated/Automatic Teller Machine. So if you said "ATM Machine," technically you'd be saying "Automated Teller Machine Machine." That's like saying "a basketball ball" instead of just saying "a basketball." Dumb, yes? xD

Yeah, so that was just a random mini-rant. Also, a random but somewhat cool fact: Did you know that cheese dulls a dog's sense of smell? It would have done my dog a lot of good if my aunt and I knew that before feeding our dog a bunch of cheese. My dog LOVES cheese! Strange, how everyone loves the one thing that is bad for them.

Oh, and the.. 32nd commenter (not on this blog only, but overall), will receive 3 weeks of plugging! :D
