Okay, so at school, we have a Lost and Found. If you don’t know what that is, it’s just like this bin where they dump all the things students have lost over the year. In math class, we started talking about it, for no reason at all (because the teacher is cool like that XD). She told us about how once, a student left a winter coat in the closet, and it was STILL there by the end of the school year.
Really? How do you forget a heavy, winter coat?!?! I mean, HELLO? Oh, hey, it’s cold out! I wonder what I’m missing? And the thing I don’t get, besides that, is that they never reclaim it! How do you not remember that you left your coat at school? How do you not remember that it’s your coat hanging in the closet? How do you not remember to bring it home the next day?!?!
Once, my friend even saw a pair of underwear in the staircase. O_O How do you lose your underwear? I mean, it’s not like you’re wearing it, and then all of the sudden it’s falling down your pants, or something. O_o Unless you take it off, and I don’t know why you’d be taking off your underwear in the SCHOOL STAIRCASE, how do you lose your underwear?
Speaking of school, on Friday, January 29th, I had part one of my social studies midterm. D: I have an okay feeling, but you know how that always turns out.
Day two of my S. S. test is on Monday (February 1). Wow, would you believe that it’s February 2010 already? That brings us another month closer to 2012 and Armageddon. (; To be honest, I don’t believe that the world will end in 2012.
The only reason some people think that, is because the Mayan’s calendar was in a spiral, and it was really precise. The position of the moons, the stars, whatever. The Mayan calendar almost matched our current calendar. They were just that exact. Anyway, like I said, their calendar was in a spiral, and the spiral ended at 2012. And that’s why people think the world will end in 2012. But really, they couldn’t even predict the end of their own civilization.
And how do you know they didn’t just run out of room for the spiral?
Last Tuesday, we went to the Maimonides Hospital! We went to the nursery section, and the babies were all so cute! Everyone was asking if that baby was a girl, or if this baby was a boy. When the nurse replied, everyone was like, “How do you know?” And the nurse would go, “Oh, you know.. I’m a nurse. I’m supposed to know these things. But it also helps that there are labels.” Everyone felt really stupid after that.
One bad thing has happened, though—My aunt was going down the stairs, but she twisted it somehow. :/ Her left ankle is a bit swollen, but it’s been getting much better now.
And… I don’t really want to end on a bad note, so I’ll end saying I saw The Lovely Bones. It was pretty good, actually, and I enjoyed it.
It was a bit sad, though, of course, since it’s about a murder.
It wasn’t really too scary, though, except for this one part where… Uh, sorry, I don’t want to spoil it.
‘Kay, well, BYE FOR NOW! ![]()

How do you lose your underwear at school? Be creative!
Do you believe in 2012 the world will end? What do you think about the Mayan calendar?
